Here’s how to do it. Log in to your account manager in your domain host’s website if you already own a domain or domains. If you plan to buy a domain name click here! Check for free packages that are included in your domain hosting. You should be able to see a free economy hosting package, a free personal email and “free website tonight”, a starter website package. I would not opt for the starter webpage and rather install WordPress. You would note that wordpress installation is not included with the free economy hosting package but you can still install wordpress by yourself if you know how to do it or you can hire someone to do it for you. However, you need to enable and configure the free economy web hosting, ftp access and mysql database prior to installing wordpress.
DNS settings will be the last thing to do when your website is ready for launching. Meanwhile, your website will be hosted temporarily as a subdomain at previewdns.com as in http://yourdomain.com.previewdns.com. Once you’re done with the preceding process, you can download the wordpress installation package at http://wordpress.org, extract the contents to a suitable folder and upload via FTP client such as FileZilla, using the ftp details for your domain. You may configure your personal email first before installing wordpress. I presume that at this stage, you are familiar with wordpress installation, if not, read installation tips at http://wordpress.org. When you think your blog or website is ready for launch, you may change the DNS settings of your domain from the hosting control panel to make it live.
